The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.
The requirement is for providing janitorial and cleaning services for properties owned or managed by the United States Government as official office and operational space for the Mission in Bogotá, Colombia. The contractor shall perform janitorial and cleaning services in all designated spaces including, but not limited to, offices, workstations, conference rooms, restrooms, cafeterias, breakrooms, medical unit, storage areas, entranceways, lobbies, elevators, stairways, exterior driveways and walkways, patio areas, as well as in Controlled Access Areas (CAA), when escorted by RSO cleared personnel. All contractor personnel must be capable of obtaining a security clearance by the Regional Security Office (RSO) of the U.S. Embassy prior to gaining access to the compound to perform tasks under the contract.
The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.
Pursuant to FAR 4.1102(a), offerors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov at the time of proposal submission. Failure to be registered at time of proposal submission may deem the offeror’s proposal to be considered non-responsive to the solicitation requirements and no further consideration will be given. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposals.
