This is an invitation to submit a bid to Glynn County Board of Commissioners for the Coast Guard Park Parking and Drainage Improvements, as indicated herein (Identified as SCOPE A in the construction plans). The work to be performed under this contract consists of the construction of an new parking lot to include storm drainage and connecting sidewalk and bike path located at 4104 First Street Saint Simons Island. The work will include but is not limited to, curb and gutter, all Mass Grading, clearing/ demolition and grubbing for the entire project site, storm drainage structures and piping, utility installation to include water and sanitary sewer, dewatering, sidewalk construction, base installation and asphalt paving, Erosion & Sediment Control measures, signing and striping and the installation of the dirt building pad on grade for the Coast Guard restrooms to be built by others.
The County intends to release two Invitation for Bids, one for Mass Grading, Site Utilities and Parking Lot refereed to as Scope A; and one for the Building and Park refereed to as Scope B. This specific IFB will address Scope A.

. At 2:00 bids will be opened in conference room 224 located on the second floor of the Harold Pate Building which is located at 1725 Reynold Street Brunswick, GA. Additionally, the bid opening will be streamed live on the County's YouTube Channel.
Instructions for preparation and submission of a bid-proposal are contained in this packet. Bids must be typed or printed in ink. Bids submitted for this invitation must be returned online via the Portal. Bids may not be considered unless so received.

Bidders shall not contact County employees, Department Heads, Evaluation Committee Members or Elected Officials with questions or any other concerns about the solicitation.

PRE-QUALIFICATION QUESTIONNAIRES MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 5 p.m., EST FRIDAY MAY 23RD, 2025. FAILURE TO OBTAIN PRE-QUALIFICATION WILL RESULT IN THE BID BEING DISQUALIFIED.
The Glynn County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive all technicalities, reject any or all bids, and make the award in the best interest of the County.
