Solicitation Summary

The Maryland Department of Health (MDH or the Department), Office of Population Health Improvement (OPHI), is issuing this Request for Applications (RFA) for organizations to develop a new CHW certification training program that meets the requirement of COMAR 10.68.02.03 and successfully complete the process to be accredited by the Maryland Department of Health. Additionally, the awardee will purchase materials (e.g., loaner laptops, textbooks) to lower barriers for ten (10) under-served/under-resourced students to complete the accredited training program at a future date.
