Project Description: The City of Brownsville, Texas (“City”) is accepting sealed proposals from qualified firms that wish to collect certain recyclable materials generated in the City as described in further detail herein. Pursuant to the City’s Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the City intends to award an exclusive franchise agreement (“Agreement”) authorizing the curbside collection, hauling, and processing of certain types of recyclable material from the City’s residents. Any firm interested in submitting a proposal must comply with the requirements contained in the RFP. Note that the City has also issued RFP# 002-25-IS-RFP for Residential and Commercial Solid Waste Collection Services. Proposers may submit on both this RFP# 001-25-IS-RFP and the Residential and Commercial Solid Waste Collection Services RFP# 002-25-IS-RFP.
