Intent to Sole Source Benko Security Access Control

This is an intent to sole source the procurement/installation of a CAC Reader (Secure Access) System for the Benko Gym. This will be a SBA-Certified WOSB Sole Source:

Contractor must remove and dispose of the existing access control system from one (1) exterior door and one (1) interior door. Additionally, contractor must provide and install CAC proximity access control for two (2) card readers; one (1) interior and one (1) exterior. Contractor must also provide 2 copies of the access control system's operating manual as well as in person training for (2) government personnel on the use of software/system. Finally, contractor must ensure that there are no protruding wires, and the devices are neatly installed.

The end-user came back and stated that the requirement needs to be sole source to SmartNet as a result of the equipment on this requirement needing to be able to integrate with previously installed equipment as well as a recent maintenance contract on the previously installed equipment.
