PROJECT: 2025 CMP Lining Project

Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Tuscaloosa, at the Council Chamber of City

Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on October 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time for this project, at

which time bids will be opened and read.

Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is required in order for

a General Contractor to submit a bid on this Project. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the

Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on October 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local

time.

Project Scope: Line existing corrugated metal pipe (CMP) at three locations. The first location is

in the Academy Drive subdivision at Fredericksburg Drive and include lining approximately 42 LF

of 36” round CMP. The second location is in the Skyland Park subdivision on Bellview Drive and

includes lining approximately 350 LF of 72” round CMP. The last location is in the Woodland

Forrest subdivision on Redbud Lane and includes lining approximately 82 LF of round CMP.

Award of the contract will be made within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the bid

opening.

Plans and Specifications: Plans and specifications and all related Contract Documents are open

for public inspection at the Office of the City Engineer, located at 2201 University Blvd Tuscaloosa,

Alabama and plans, specifications and other elements of the contract documents may be

obtained from the office of the City Engineer, designated as the office of the awarding authority
