2025 Cassidy Park Improvements

NOTICE TO BIDDERS: Go to GPR/Supporting Documents or thomasville.org for the complete & unabbreviated Invitation to Bid. This is an abbreviated version. Sealed bids for the City of Thomasville's 2025 CASSIDY PARK IMPROVEMENTS project will be received until 10:00 AM local time on December 09, 2025, at the Office of the City Engineer, 411 W. Jackson St., Thomasville, GA 31792 for public opening. No Bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for request of bids for a period of 60 days. Contractor must be licensed contractor in the State of GA, and the sub-contractors must be licensed in the State of GA and follow and comply with the Rules and Regulations of the State of Georgia & will furnish all materials, labor, equipment & perform all work required to complete the project. This project consists of improvements to Cassidy Park that include sidewalks, limestone walking loops, parking lot, a shelter, and a restroom pad construction. The project is being funded with federal aid from the American Rescue Plan Act Improving Neighborhood Outcomes in Disproportionally Impacted Communities Grant Program and will be administered IAW all applicable federal, State, and local laws and regulations. A complete set of plans, specs, & bid documents may be viewed at the Office of the City Engineer. Proposals will not be considered by Owner unless Bidder is on record as purchasing & receiving complete Bid Documents. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid. If awarded the Contract, bidder will submit separate Payment & Performance Bond each for 100% of the Contract amount. Bids must be plainly marked 2025 CASSIDY PARK IMPROVEMENTS & must be delivered before the time specified. The City of Thomasville, GA reserves the right to reject any & all bids, to waive informalities, to re-advertise, &/or to award the contract in the best interest of the City. CITY OF THOMASVILLE M.
