New Freedom WWTP Aeration Upgrades

Project Description: New Freedom Borough (The Owner) will receive bids for the Project entitled New Freedom WWTP Aeration Upgrades at 12 N. Main Street, Railroad, Pennsylvania 17355 until 10:30 am on October 4, 2024, for General Construction Contract covering all work identified in the Bidding Documents.
Bids shall be submitted electronically through the PennBid Bonfire System (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com), bids will be opened publicly and read aloud shortly thereafter, in the New Freedom Borough Council Room located at 49 East High Street, New Freedom, PA 17349.
Project includes the following work:
Improvements to the New Freedom Wastewater Treatment Plant to include a new masonry blower building, new blowers, corresponding electrical upgrades, new generator access platform/stairs, replacement SBR mixers, additional SBR diffusers and SS air piping, tank coatings, new SBR walkway, yard piping relocations and site improvements.
MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on September 4, 2024, at 9:00 am in the New Freedom Borough Council Room located at 49 East High Street, New Freedom, PA 17349. A site visit will immediately follow at the New Freedom WWTP located at 12 N. Main Street, Railroad, PA 17355.
Bidding Documents, including Project Manual and Drawings, are only available in pdf format through the PennBid Bonfire System (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com).
The Project is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in bids, or to reject any or all bids to the extent permitted by law.
