The Ministry of Environment and Parks, Recreation Sites and Trails BC branch, is issuing a Request for Proposal for recreation site (campsite) maintenance services in the East Chilcotin region (Ministry Contract No. RC262770002MY), for the period of April 15th, 2025, to March 31st, 2026. Subject to satisfactory performance by the Contractor and availability of funding by the Province, the Parties may agree in writing to extend this Agreement up to a maximum of two (2) additional 12-month terms. Should the option to renew be exercised it is expected that the Contractor’s bid rate or bid price in the preceding term will remain unchanged in the subsequent term, unless, in the ministry’s sole opinion, a negotiated rate change is warranted.
The proposed contract requires the provision of regular maintenance services, including cleaning and repairing campsite facilities at the nine (9) recreation sites listed below. All sites are geographically located in the East Chilcotin region west of the city of Williams Lake, between Riske Creek and Tatla Lake. The locations of each site are shown on the recreation site location maps included within Appendix A - Specimen Contract.
