Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for

North One Water Programming
SPU RFQ/Contract #24-069-S

Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is seeking a consultant team to provide predesign services for a future multi-site campus that will support SPU staff north of the Ship Canal. The three campus sites combine for a total area of approximately 8.4 acres and will include a mixture of new and remodeled buildings, covered storage areas, and parking facilities with a projected total construction cost of approximately $50M. The selected consultant team will conduct site visits, staff interviews, document reviews, and other activities necessary to develop a space program and design standards for the campus along with test-to-fit sketches and a high-level construction cost estimate compliant with the AACE International Cost Estimate Classification System. A separate RFQ process will follow for design and construction services. SPU plans to execute a single contract with an estimated value of $1 million. The estimated duration is 18 months with an option to extend.

The City strongly prefers that consultants submit questions in Bonfire but will accept questions submitted to the Contract Administrator in email format, as well. Questions shall be directed to Ajla Suta, Contract Administrator & SPU’s designated contact person, at ajla.suta@seattle.gov . To facilitate preparation of responses to questions, please submit questions by no later than 5PM Pacific Time on Tuesday, June 25 th , 2024.
