NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Tustin, California is accepting applications for the City of Tustin CALENDAR YEAR 2025 List of Qualified Contractors for Informal Projects. This list will be used for notification purposes only for certain construction and maintenance related projects required throughout the year.
The City of Tustin is inviting all qualified licensed contractors in the State of California, who wish to be included on the City’s notification list of qualified bidders for informal contracts for calendar year 2025 to submit information as set forth below.
This list will be used to notify contractors of construction and maintenance related projects in accordance with the Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act, Section 22000 et seq. of the California Public Contract Code, and as set forth in the City of Tustin Municipal Code Section 1627 Informal Bidding Procedure. Currently, this includes projects with a value of $200,000 or less.
To be included on the City’s list of qualified bidders for informal projects for calendar year 2025, interested qualified licensed contractors shall submit their application to the City of Tustin no later than December 31, 2025. Prior to award of any contract for any Informal Project, contractor shall be required to submit current proof of insurance that meets City insurance requirements.
Contractor shall provide to the City within ten (10) working days after the date of notice of award of the contract evidence of the aforementioned insurance with insurer endorsements, which must meet the City’s insurance requirements. An Acord Certificate will be accepted solely as evidence of the name of the insurers and the amounts of insurance. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in annulment of the award. Contractor is advised that insurance requirements are non-negotiable and City will not consider waiving insurance requirements. There are no exceptions.
