Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) is soliciting competitive quotes for the purchase of brand-specific personal protective equipment (PPE) to support operational personnel. This Quick Quote covers the procurement of LION RedZone Particulate Blocking Hoods (Model HD395146) and LION Legend Helmets (black and white models with Bourke Eye Shields and Quick Clean Coating), which are standard-issue components of FRDâs firefighter PPE ensemble. Substitutions will not be accepted. The procurement is subject to Fairfax Countyâs standard procurement terms. All products must comply with NFPA 1971 standards and be delivered F.O.B. Destination by June 20, 2025, or as negotiated.
