SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT AND POWER PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR DPW FACILITY, WITH OR WITHOU

The Town of Yarmouth is seeking qualified proposers to submit proposals for the disposition, by lease, of a portion of Town-owned property located at 74 Town Brook Road, West Yarmouth, MA 02673, for the development, installation, operation, and maintenance of a solar photovoltaic (PV) system, and the sale of electricity to the Town pursuant to a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).

This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30B, Section 16. All proposals shall be submitted and evaluated in accordance with applicable law.

The RFP documents will be available beginning August 4, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at https://www.yarmouth.ma.us/bids.aspx .

Sealed proposals will be received by the Office of the Town Administrator, Yarmouth Town Hall, 1146 Route 28, South Yarmouth, MA 02664, until 2:00 pm EST on September 10, 2026.

The Town reserves the right to reject all proposals; to waive any minor defects, informalities, or irregularities; and to award any contracts or cancel this RFP if it is in the Town’s best interest to do so.
