The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for guardrail and fence type
work in all Alexander & Iredell Counties. The Contractor is to furnish labor, material, equipment
and traffic control:
CONTRACT TIME:
The availability date for this contract will be January 15, 2026.
The completion date for this contract will be January 14, 2027.

under Division 12 or obtained from the Division 12 Office, located at 1710 E. Marion Street in
Shelby, N.C. 28152, by contacting Greg Brittain at 980-552-4222. Please refer to the WBS

BID OPENING:
Sealed bids must be received in the Division Engineer's Office, located at 1710 E. Marion Street,
Shelby, N.C. 28152, by 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Bids must be submitted on
the official bid sheet as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders along with the complete proposal
and display the following statement on the front of the envelope:
