The Town of Wayland, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for the WAYLAND DPW VEHICLE WASH RENOVATION at the DPW MAINTENANCE FACILITY, 66 River Road Wayland MA
01778. The scope of work includes but not limited to, the following:

Supply and Install the replacement of select existing equipment and provide provisions for future enhancements as described in the Work Statement.
Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 30 § 39M.
Beginning Wednesday, November 20 at 3:00 p.m. complete sets of bidding documents, including bid forms, may be electronically downloaded from the Town of Wayland website:
www.wayland.ma.us/bids
and selecting Bid # 24-1030-IFB DPW Vehicle Wash Renovation Project.
Bid documents are made available to all bidders in electronic format at no cost; bidders desiring hard copies of the Specifications shall be solely responsible for all costs related to the printing and shipping of hard copy packages.
The Town of Wayland shall receive General Bids at the Town of Wayland Facilities Office, Second Floor, Wayland Town Building, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA 01778 until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2024 for General Bidders, at which time bids will be opened and recorded. Bids submitted after this time will not be considered.
An optional pre-bid conference and site walk-through will be held at the project site at 66 River Road, Wayland, MA 01778 on December 6, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. No preregistration is required. Contractors are invited to meet the owner representative at the Front Entrance.

DCAMM Certification is required for this project if the Bid Price is $150,000 or greater.

5% Bid Bond is required.

The estimated cost for this project is: $85,000.
The Town of Wayland reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, to reject any and/or all bids and to waive minor irregularities and or informalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the Town.
