Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Mexico City will launch the solicitation on SAM.gov website when it is available.
The U.S. Embassy Mexico City has a requirement for a forklift, including training to operate it, in Mexico City, Mexico.
The delivery date for items shall be no later than May 30, 2025. Delivery of item shall be in either: The US Embassy Mexico City (if you are a MX local vendor); of in the USLC-Brownsville Texas (if you are a US domestic vendor).
Delivery of training shall be on-site in Mexico City (address to be confirmed).
The selected offeror will be fully responsible for delivery the forklift and providing training to operate the forklift as described in the RFQ document that will be published on SAM.gov; including obtaining any local government permits and licenses if needed, taking into consideration quality standards that will be mentioned in the RFQ document. Offerors will be responsible for presenting an offer that considers elements listed below, and, if a discrepancy is identified, the offeror will be responsible to flag it on in the quotation.
Offeror shall provide complete information of the items being quoted in conformance with the requirements stated in the scope of work, such as descriptive literature, owner’s manual, maintenance procedures, technical datasheets, as applicable. Items shall comply with the minimum quality standards of the industry and any other quality standards as stated in the scope of work. Items shall include minimum warranty standards as stated in the industry and any other warranties as required in the scope of work.
All offerors that respond to the solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform the work. At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements when submitting their quotation:
Prior to submitting a quotation pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7, all offerors are to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database, at: https://www.sam.gov.
