City Website Redesign
The City of Ballwin, Missouri is seeking proposals from qualified, experienced firms to design, develop, and implement a new official City website. The City seeks to create a dynamic website that is designed and organized in a manner that: allows visitors to easily find and access information; acts as a marketing tool for the City to highlight its programs, events and services, as well as its amenities and attractions to potential residents and businesses; is mobile-friendly; is easy to update and modify; and is able to incorporate components and integrate with third-party applications.Proposals must be emailed to Megan Freeman at mfreeman@ballwin.mo.us or mailed to Megan Freeman, City of Ballwin, 1 Government Ctr., Ballwin, MO 63011 by 3:00 P.M. on Friday, March 27th, 2026 . - Approximately how many pages, documents, and media assets will require migration from the

current website?

566 pages on website, hundreds of documents and media assets.

- Will the City provide guidance on archiving or removing outdated content prior to migration?

City will work with provider to do audit of website prior to migration.

- For RecTrac, Municode, and MyGov integrations, should these integrations be iframe-based or

API-based? If API-based, do you currently have access to the respective APIs.

- For the universal calendar, should events sync automatically from source systems or be

manually curated?

Events sync automatically.

- Does the City currently use a notification platform for email/SMS alerts, or should this be

included in the proposal?

Email/SMS alert program already in place, needs to be integrated on website.

- Does the City have a preferred analytics platform given the preference to avoid Google

Analytics?

No preferred.

- Approximately how many content editors will be managing the website?

4-5.

- Should workflow approvals vary by department or be standardized?

Vary by department

- Is branding refresh included or is this strictly a website redesign?

No branding refresh, just website redesign

- How many staff members require training?

4-5 eventually.

- Should the vendor implement redirect mapping from the current website?

Yes
