Description
The DISTRICT intends to procure necessary labor, supervision, safety equipment rental, scaffold rental and equipment, scaffolding inspection, and conveyances, including the mobilization/demobilization necessary for the erection and dismantle of the plant equipment scaffolding at Sheldon Station (SS) in accordance with ATTACHMENT E to allow for general inspection and maintenance activities to be performed from the time of execution of the Contract until December 31, 2027, performance bond and all other requirements as specified in this Request for Proposal (RFP).

Pre-Bid Meeting Details
The DISTRICT has scheduled one (1) mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit to walk down the scaffolding work scope at 9:00 a.m., CDT on October 3, 2024, at the DISTRICT’S Sheldon Station, located near Hallam, Nebraska. The purpose of the pre-bid will be to review the Contract specifications and to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract requirements. It is the Bidder’s responsibility, while participating in the meeting, to ask any questions necessary to understand the requirements of the Contract so the Bidder can submit a bid that is complete and according to the specifications. It is imperative that all prospective Bidders attend this site visit. Proposals will not be accepted from any Bidder not in attendance at the site visit. If you plan to attend the site visit, please email Kayla Paczosa at kkpaczo@nppd.com, and Lynn Guilliatt at l1guill@nppd.com by October 1, 2024, with the names of those attending and the company they represent. It is expected that this mandatory meeting and walk down will take 2 – 3 hours to complete. Please plan your travel accordingly.
Bidders’ personnel who will be in attendance for the Mandatory Site Visit shall follow the DISTRICT and associated SS plant safety policies during their site visit. The DISTRICT’S SS facility is a secured site. Please allow thirty (30) minutes for security inspections prior to entering the SS site. A current photo ID is required for site access, along with hard hats safety shoes and a mask.
