This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, and is being conducted under FAR Subpart 13; simplified acquisition procedures apply. VA will conduct the procurement according to a combination of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued.

(ii) The solicitation number is VA251-17-Q-1226 and is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ)

(iii) The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69, August 1, 2013. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Installation

Remove existing pot and pan area equipment and move to loading dock to remain Government property.

Set pot and pan machine. Set tabling in place. Weld and polish any field joints for tables and seal.

Install Pot and Pan Collector and power wash sink.

Make final utility connections to all new equipment in pot and pan area to within 5' of terminating points on the same floor level. Start up and test all equipment for proper operation. Dispose of debris.

Please provide a drawing of dimensions and placement of proposed equipment.

(vi) To be technically acceptable the products quoted shall be Brand Name or Equal to the items noted above.

(vii) Delivery FOB Destination to VA Medical Center, 1700 East 38th Street, Marion, IN 46953.

(ix) 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items: FAR provision 52.212-2 does not apply to this solicitation. Award will be based on lowest price technically acceptable offer.
