Food rations for Virginia Army National Guard for Individual Training

The USPFO Contracting Office, Virginia (VA) intends to issue a sole-source award to Valley Foods Inc, Youngstown, Ohio 44503, and Cage Code 1JGP3. Subsistence is need for the Regional Training Institute of the Virginia Army National Guard to conduct training for the month of January. The contract award will be awarded to provide rations and raw subsistence for the commonwealth of Virginia.

This acquisition will be procured using FAR Part 6.302-1(b)(1)(i). Only one reasonable source and no other supplier or services will satisfy Agency requirements.

The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 311991 with a size standard 500 employees.

This notice is not a formal solicitation. This not considered a Request for Quotation (RFQ). No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No purchase order will be awarded on the basis of quotation or offers received in response to this notice.

Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase order will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to complete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
