Description
This Request for Information (RFI) / (Sources Sought Notice) is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. Network Contracting Office 9 is seeking potential sources for a Led Overhead Dental Track Lights. This is not a solicitation or a request for proposal and shall not be construed as an obligation or commitment by the Government. An award will not be made on any offers submitted in response to this notice, and it shall not be implied the Government is committed to providing any solicitation or award following this notice. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this request, nor will the Government compensate a respondent for any costs incurred in developing the information provided.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9, is seeking sources that can provide Led Overhead Dental Track Lights that at a minimum meets the following salient characteristics.

Item: A-dec Led Overhead Dental Track Lights

1) Essential/significant physical, functional, or performance characteristics
Light must be able to be mounted on a track system, overhead
Base color must be white
Must contain LED
Must have a lead time of no more than 6-8 weeks for installation
Must be installed by an A-dec authorized installer
Has to attach to a ceiling backing structure that will support a minimum of 200lbs.
Must have voltage range: 100-240 VAC
Must have no more than 1.25 Amps
Must have frequency range (Hz) of 50-60
Must have equipment template provided for proper placement and planning
Distance from electrical stub to chair baseplate needs to be at least 13-3/4 for optimal positioning overhead to field of vision for oral cavity
Distance from end of track to chair baseplate needs to be at least 15 ¾ for optimal positioning overhead to field of vision for oral cavity
Track lighting must be positioned over dental chair with light track base at least 77-1/2 , folding position must not exceed 27-3/4 and full extension to oral cavity must not exceed 25 (or will hit patient in face)
