Notice of Intent to Sole Source GE Venue R4 Preimier

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. This requirement is accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 13.106(b)(1) Soliciting from a Single source. Funding for this procurement is provided through the Helmsley Charitable Trust Grant for new Ultrasound equipment and has partnered with GE Precision Healthcare to provide the equipment, under the Rural Healthcare Initiiative, to provide high quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging equipment to the Red Lake Indian Hospital.

The intent is to complete a sole source award directly to GE precision Healthcare as the only vendor capable of providing the subsequent service and maintenance due to the proprietary nature of the equipment. All inquiries received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
