Fire Alarm/Sprinkler Service Contract (Naval Station Newport, Newport, RI)

This is a Sources Sought Notice (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5) to determine the capability and availability of sources with Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Maintenance Service experience. Naval Station Newport in Newport, RI is seeking qualified companies to perform maintenance, repair and alterations for Fire Alarm and Sprinkler for recurring and nonrecurring services on the installation. The scope of work includes inspecting, testing, maintaining and repair of fire alarm panels, fire alarm sprinklers and clean agent fire suppression systems.

The work will be accomplished under a combined Recurring/Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Non-Recurring/Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option periods. Estimated contract start date is 01 June 2023.

Sources sought include small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business concerns. The NAICS code is 561621 -- Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths). The Small Business Size Standard is $22.0 million.

Interested vendors should fill out and submit the attached Sources Sought Information Request Form, in addition to providing the following information:

1. Company Profile, to include number and location of offices and number of employees per office, annual receipts, available bonding capacity, DUNS number, and Cage code.

2. Please indicate if you are a Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, Service- Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, certified HUBZone Small Business, and/or certified 8(a) Business.

3. Provide examples of projects worked within the last five years of similar size, scope and complexity as the work indicated, knowledge of the state regulations within your AOR. Indicate whether your firm worked as a prime or subcontractor, contract value, brief description of how the referenced contract relates to the work described, and a Government Agency point of contact.
