The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Natick Division, in support of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command – Soldier Center (DEVCOM-SC) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to BMG LabTech, Inc. located at 13000 Weston Pkwy STE 109, Cary, NC 27513, under the authority as prescribed in FAR 13.106(b)(1). The requirement is for one (1) CLARIOstar Plus plate reader equipped with the patented adjustable bandpass LVF Monochromators, filters, and tunable spectrometer. This BMG LabTech CLARIOstar Plus also features the Atmospheric Control Unit Ready (“ACU Ready”) feature, which allows for future addition of a gas-control unit for atmospheric gas control. This feature is a critical option available from BMG LabTech that is required for the mission. The BMG LabTech CLARIOstar Plus is a high-performance microplate reader capable of reading in several modes: absorbance, fluorescence, and chemiluminescence. Microplate readers are essential in biological and biochemistry laboratories to read and record real-time (in a multi-well format) several types of biological and/or biochemical assays needed for human performance research.
