THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS FOR INFORMATION ONLY. No proposal is requested or accepted with this synopsis and shall not be construed as an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposal and no contract shall be awarded from this synopsis. Your response to this synopsis will be treated as information only and part of market research and will not be shared outside of the Government. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. In the event a solicitation is developed, it will be assigned a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) number and potential offerors will be expected to thoroughly address the requirements thereof regardless of the circumstances surrounding this sources sought.
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), Unmanned Breacher Vehicle (UBV) team is tasked to conduct a determination of a viable unmanned ground demining vehicle with flail capability. NSWC PCD has a requirement to procure the RDV and flail, conduct functional testing, and then prepare for United States Marine Corps (USMC) demonstrations and exercises to proof the concept.
This Sources Sought solicits input from potential offerors so the Government can better understand available commercial technology capable of meeting this requirement.
Respondent is requested to provide information on the following:
1. Information on a RDV including feasibility of meeting attached performance characteristics and draft Statement of Work.*
2. Ability to meet schedule requirements.
3. ROM/cost and schedule for one (1) system.
4. Whether the RDV is available on the GSA schedule or under other DoD Contract.
5. Company Profile to include the following:
a. Company Name

e. Telephone Number
f. Business Size (i.e. large, small disadvantaged, veteran owned, woman owned, etc.)

*Attachments to this Sources Sought are Distribution Statement C and are attached as controlled sensitive/secure documents. Interested parties with the appropriate authority will be able to access these documents.

Written responses must be submitted as a Microsoft Word or .PDF document. Responses are limited to 5 pages, including cover and administrative pages, and shall be delivered using 10 font or larger. Proprietary information, if any, must be clearly marked. To aid the Government in its review and evaluation, please segregate proprietary information. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
Written responses are requested no later than 27 June 2019. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail only to email@example.com. It should be noted that telephone replies will not be accepted.
