The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following:

The Boise VAMC requires Patient Slings for use on Veteran patients. All items are to be delivered to Boise VA Medical Center. Only fully qualified and OEM authorized vendors who have been authorized to provide original equipment manufacturer OEM items and have the capability to provide the above stated equipment are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to scott.james@va.gov no later than 01/26/23 at 11:59am PST. Additional Salient Characteristics:
All the slings must be Loop Attachment to be used with our Vancare Vanturn stand aids already purchased.
All Wipeable. Some of these wipeable are designated to be used at our Community Based Outpatient Clinics that do not have laundering service available.
These sit to stand belt slings will need to have inner safety belt for extra support during transfers.
RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, and business size, point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address, OEM authorization provide the items must be included in the response. OEM documentation confirming access to all required OEM items and parts must be included in the response.
