INTRODUCTION:

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades project at the Madison VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 2500 Overlook Terrace, Madison, WI 53705.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The Providence VAMC is seeking a general contractor to furnish all labor, tools, material, equipment, and supervision for the EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades project at the Madison VAMC. This project shall include, but not be limited to general construction, the replacement of all telecommunications cable, outlets, and associated equipment for multiple buildings on the Madison VA campus. All work will be performed consistent with provided drawings and specifications.

ADMINISTRATIVE:

The solicitation will be issued as a “Invitation for Bid” (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $45 million. The solicitation will be issued in mid-February of 2023. The period of performance is approximately 600 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $20,000,000 and $50,000,000.
