The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Jacksonville, Florida, 32212-0097 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract and will utilize procedures under FAR Part 13.5, Test Programs for Certain Commercial Items. The requirement calls for overhaul and repair services of these TF34-100A engine components, and requires assistance with cleaning, inspection and repair of the TF34 High Pressure turbine (HPT) Rotor Balance Piston(BP) Rotating Air Seal, in accordance with applicable technical manuals returning the seal to ready-for-issue (REI) condition. It is estimated that there will be approximately 65 seals per year requiring repair. The contractor shall be required to accept non-ready-for-issue (Non-RFI) seals as required by the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

The Government anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price, single award task orders contract for the entire requirement outlined in this announcement.

The Product Service Code (PSC) is J028, Maintenance, Repair, Rebuild of Equipment. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations.

By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
