This is a Sources Sought Notification issued by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for informational and planning purposes only. This is NOT a solicitation, nor is it an announcement for a forthcoming solicitation. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred in providing a response.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), National Operations Division (NOD) operates a Print Mail Center (PMC) at 9700 Page Ave., Suite 400, St. Louis, MO 63132. NASS/NOD/PMC currently owns and operates a Ricoh Pro 8320s serial number 3692CA00021, a Ricoh Pro 8310s serial number C448C100025, and a Ricoh Pro C7210s serial number C862FAA0151 high speed production printers. NASS requires a maintenance service contract to ensure operational status of the equipment is maintained. The vendor is required to be a manufacturer trained and certified Ricoh and Fiery software technician to perform preventative maintenance and service and repair of this equipment.

Prospective vendors must be able to provide an Authorized Independent Verification letter. The vendor will be required to maintain a four-hour response time for service calls placed during business hours (8:00AM – 5:00PM Monday through Friday except Federal holidays).

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 423420 Office Equipment Merchant Wholesalers standard size $100 million dollars.

Submission Instructions: Interested vendors are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notification by 5:00p ET on 06 June 2023, to the attention of David Jordan, Contract Specialist, David.Jordan@usda.gov. All questions are asked to be submitted inwriting to the Primary Point of Contract and will be addressed accordingly.

Responses should be no more than 5 pages and include the following information:

1. Organization Name.


2. Contract Name, e-mail address and phone number.


3. Organizations SAM UEI number.


4. Business size status for the applicable NAICS code.


5. A statement of interest in any forthcoming acquisition.


6. A statement of capability to perform details of the requirement.

The Government reserves the right to use any nonproprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s). Any additional information will not be reviewed by the USDA.
