WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT AND STREET REHABILITATION FOR

WESTMINSTER AVE, ORANGE GROVE AVE, AND CONCORD AVE

IN THE CITY OF ALHAMBRA

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Alhambra (CITY) invites sealed bids for the above stated project and will receive such bids in the office of the City Clerk, 111 South First Street, Alhambra, California 91801, up to the hour of 10:30 a.m. on February 23, 2023. They will be publicly opened at 11:00 a.m. in the City Council Chambers.

This project would replace approximately 4700 linear feet of the existing four-inch and six-inch cast iron water mains with new 8” ductile iron pipe water mains. The Project also includes asphalt paving, replacing damaged sidewalk, driveway approach, curb and gutter, and ADA ramps.

Special Requirements:

No bid will be accepted from a Contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with the provisions of the Business and Professions Code. The successful Contractor and his subcontractors will be required to possess business licenses from the City. Prior to beginning work, the Contractor must possess a valid California Class A or C-34 license. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularity, and to take all bids under advisement for a period of sixty (60) calendar days.
