Request for Qualifications - On-Call Services for Grant Writing

Overview
The City of Davis ("the City") is soliciting statements of qualifications from proposers interested in providing assistance with grant writing, grant application preparation, grant submission and related activities.

Successful proposers will become part of an on-call list that the City will utilize on an as-needed basis. Given this, the City is interested in developing a multi-faceted list with varied subject-area expertise. The City anticipates needing expertise in the following areas:

1. Civic arts
2. Economic development
3. Environmental sustainability
4. Housing and community development
5. Parks and recreation
6. Public safety
7. Transportation
8. Social services/homelessness

It is important to note that the on-call experts will likely receive requests from the City without much notice and the workload is likely to be irregular because the work is dependent on federal, state, and regional funding opportunities and their respective timelines.

Purpose
The purpose of this solicitation is to improve the City's ability to pursue and secure grants with the ultimate goal of advancing City priorities through the maximization of local funds.

Term of Agreement
Successful proposers will enter into a three-year agreement, with the possibility of a two (2) one­ year extensions for a total of five (5) years.
