Fire Station 31

The City of Davis is requesting proposals from qualified firms to design and prepare construction plans, specifications, and estimate to complete the immediate remodel, a full remodel, or replace the existing Fire Station 31, located at 530 5 th Street in Davis, California.

The designer shall control the project in terms of staffing, budget, schedule and scope; promote communication within the project team; and document key decisions and risks. The selected firm will develop detailed design drawings and construction specifications for this project, incorporating City design and construction standards as appropriate and the City’s standard bid forms, construction contract, and General Conditions. The City will review the plans and specifications at 60%, 90% and 100% (final) design stages. The selected firm will provide construction support and record drawings, including assistance in responding to questions and RFIs during the bidding and construction phase, review of submittals, and attendance at construction meetings as needed.

Questions about this RFP are required to be submitted via email to Kevin Fong by Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. Questions submitted after the due date or via phone will not be accepted. All substantive questions and answers will be posted below (PDF format) and distributed to applicants.

Proposals will be considered complete only if all of the items listed under the Proposal Requirements are included. Please note, the City will not accept incomplete proposals or proposals time stamped after the submittal due date and time.

No late proposals will be accepted for any reason. No exceptions will be allowed.
