RFP Land Mobile Radio System

The City of Lompoc through its Purchasing Division (herein "Purchasing" or "City") hereby gives notice of the opportunity to submit replies to the RFP # 3016 for the Replacement of City’s Land Mobile Radio (LMR) System.
The City’s existing land mobile and microwave radio systems are at end-of-life. The City is requesting replacement systems, which will improve reliability, radio coverage, and interoperability with agencies operating in the City.

MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE AND SITE SURVEYS
A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference is scheduled for November 30, 2022 at 8:30 AM PST. The Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will discuss the requirements in detail and answer any general questions. At least one representative from each company must attend in person. Others from each company may participate via audio conference by dialing

On November 30, fifteen (15) minutes before 8:30 AM PST. Please provide names of those attending the conference in advance via email to Theresa Hernandez at t_hernandez@ci.lompoc.ca.us.
Mandatory Site Surveys include current and proposed City radio sites, which will start following the Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference. City will allow responders to conduct site surveys only one time. The dates that City has reserved for sites surveys are from November 30 – December 1. Below Table 1 shows the daily site survey schedule. You must email Theresa Hernandez at t_hernandez@ci.lompoc.ca.us before the Mandatory Site Surveys with the contact information of the representative attending on your company’s behalf.

Logistics of visiting sites will be discussed at the Pre-Proposal Conference.
