Energy Service Providers Request for Qualifications (RFQ) 2022

Authority: California Public Utility Code, Section 388 allows the Department of General Services to establish a pool of qualified energy service providers and will be in effect for up to two (2) years.

Description: Solicit responses from interested companies that will result in the establishment of a pool of Energy service providers (Qualified Pool) by evaluating submittals to ensure that any company selected for admission into the Qualified Pool will have the capacity, resources, expertise, relevant experience, and financial ability to provide the services required for implementing Solar Energy Generating Systems in future RFPs.

Once the Qualified Pool is established, the Clean Energy Unit (CEU) will provide State departments and agencies with opportunities to install Solar Energy Generating Systems, batteries, and/or microgrids in order to contribute to the achievement of the State¿s goals pertaining to renewable energy generation and procurement, reduction of the State¿s carbon footprint, and other State policy goals and objectives.

Refer to the RFQ document for details and requirements. The RFQ includes important Milestone Dates, Technical Requirements, and formatting information to allow any interested party to submit their Qualifications for consideration.
