Sealed proposals, addressed to the Supervisor of Purchases, City of Middletown, Room 112, Municipal Building, Middletown, Connecticut, 06457 will be received until Wednesday, December 7, 2022 by 3:00 PM for the following:

DESIGN & BUILD FIREARMS RANGE - CITY OF MIDDLETOWN

The City of Middletown, Connecticut is seeking proposals from interested, qualified vendors to provide the design and installation for the City of Middletown’s Firearms Range.

RFP documents and all supporting documents are available and can only be obtained from our website at www.middletownct.gov . If you download the RFP documents and would like to be listed on our “Plan holder’s List” which is posted to our website daily, we ask that you email and include your contact information to purchase@middletownct.gov For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address. .

A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10.0%) of the total bid amount shall be required with all proposals submitted. Performance and Labor and Materials Payment Bond(s) in the amount of 100% of the contract sum shall be required from the selected bidder following award. A Maintenance Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract sum shall be required after completion of work and prior to final payment.

***A pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 10:30 am at the site, 260 Meriden Road, Middletown, CT, 06457.

Proposals must be executed in accordance with and are subject to the instructions contained within the Information for Bidders.

All proposals shall be submitted on the designated forms sealed in an envelope using the return label provided and marked as designated in the Information for Bidders.

The City of Middletown reserves the right to waive any defect or any irregularity in any bid and reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any part thereof. Proposals, and amendments to proposals received after the time set for the bid opening will not be considered. All proposals must be completely filled out when submitted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days subsequent to the opening of proposals without the City of Middletown's written consent. Withdrawal of any bid must be submitted in writing to the City of Middletown.
