23-006 RFQ Maritime and Other Engineering Services

The City of Pensacola is requesting sealed statements of interest and qualifications from professional firms experienced in the design, construction, estimating and administration of Maritime and Other Engineering Services for a five-year contract term with an option for two (2) one-year extensions.

Disciplines - The types of work and disciplines will likely include the following:

The Port does not guarantee any or all of the above sample of services or disciplines will be required under the as needed contract. The above categories are to be used as a guide only. Respondents to the RFQ may propose other services as well.

Design and engineering services may be related but not limited to the following types of activities and facilities:

• Roadways, parking lots and guardrails
• Dredging
• Piling – marine and land based
• Bridges
• Harbors
• Seawall and breakwater
• Piers and wharfs
• Buildings and other structures including ADA compliance, superstructure, roof, etc.
• Fire protection, alarm and sprinkler systems
• General utilities including electrical, and mechanical such as electrical distributions, controls, lighting, HVAC, piping systems, sewage, pump stations, boilers, etc.
• Stormwater and wastewater systems
• Marine Vessels
• Marine fender systems
• Security enhancements
• Heavy Railroad improvements
