The Douglasville – Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority (hereafter referred to as the “Authority”) is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the performance of the Plantation Drive Stormwater Improvement Project (the “Project”), as more fully described in the Invitation for Bids. The scope of work includes the provision by the Contractor of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work. The Project will be “turn key” and require minimal involvement of Authority personnel.

The work to be performed shall include, but is not limited to, the removal of approximately 138 linear feet (LF) of 42” corrugated metal pipe (CMP), two catch basins, one headwall, approximately 72 linear feet (LF) of watermain, concrete curb and gutter, pavement, one concrete driveway section, existing trees and vegetative debris, and a timber wall. The Project includes installation of 176 LF of 8x4 reinforced concrete box culvert (GDOT STD. 2530P), a cast-in-place concrete corner connection (GDOT STD. 2530P TYPE P), two headwalls (GDOT STD. 2404), two double wing catch basins (GDOT STD. 1034D), one manhole (GDOT STD. 1011-A), three drop connections to concrete box culvert (GDOT STD. 9031L), 72 LF of 8” ductile iron pipe (DIP), (2) 8” gate valves, dead man concrete blocking, one concrete driveway section, asphalt pavement, a timber wall, temporary gravel parking, concrete trench cap, concrete curb and gutter, type 1 rip-rap, erosion control measures, and sodding. The Project site is located within Douglas County. Plans for Plantation Drive Stormwater Improvement Project have been prepared by Rindt-McDuff Associates, Inc., Jason Cousineau, PE, dated 03/04/2022.
