The Elbert County Board of Commissioners is seeking a sealed proposal from a qualified construction service to construct a new County Extension Office from start to finish which will be approximately 14,000 square feet. Scope of work includes following site plans, and floor plans. There will be a mandatory pre bid meeting on August 7, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Elbert County Government Complex. The County will receive proposals until 3:00pm on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at which time they will be opened at the following address: Elbert County Board of Commissioners, 45 Forest Avenue, Elberton, Georgia, 30635. Proposals received after that time and date will not be considered. Proposals must be sealed in an envelope and the words “Sealed RFP” must appear on the outside of the envelope. Send Proposals to the above address with ATT. Bobby Howell. Faxed or e-mailed Proposals cannot be accepted. Proposals will be awarded at 5:30pm on Monday October 9, 2023 at the above address.
All Bidders shall comply with the provisions of the Systematic Alien Verification of Entitlements (SAVE) program and the federal eVerify program.
The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids not in conformity with these instructions, and the County reserves the right to cancel the bid opening or the anticipated purchase.
