ITB for Resurfacing Roads in Thomas County 2023

Thomas County Board of Commissioners is requesting bids for Resurfacing roads within Thomas County – Benton Road, McGarrah Road, Rupp Road, Stage Road, Beeline Road, Ione Road, Murphy Road, Martin Road, Twelve Mile Road, Harrell Road, Russell Road, Vicky Lane, and Plantation Woods Subdivision. Sealed bids for the Resurfacing and Striping will be received until 12:00 noon, Friday, March 31, 2023, at the office of the Thomas County Board of Commissioners, 116 West Jefferson Street, 2nd Floor, Room #220, Thomasville, GA 31792, or mailed to P.O. Box 920 Thomasville, GA. 31799., each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to Nisha Thurman, Purchasing and marked as follows: Bid for “Resurfacing”. Bids received after this time will not be considered. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of (90) ninety days. Bonds: All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Contractor License: Any contractor submitting a bid must be a pre-qualified Georgia Department of Transportation Contractor. Furnish all materials, labor, and equipment to resurface approximately 15.39 miles of Benton Road, McGarrah Road, Rupp Road, Stage Road, Beeline Road, Ione Road, Murphy Road, Martin Road, Twelve Mile Road, Harrell Road, Russell Road, Vicky Lane, and Plantation Woods Subdivision, including traffic control and striping to Georgia DOT standards Minimum Requirements. There will be a MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference Monday, March 06, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Thomas County Board of Commissioners Office, 2nd Floor Room 215, 116 W Jefferson Street, Thomasville, GA 31792. The Pre-Bid Conference is mandatory for anyone that will be submitting a bid.
