Stormwater Pond Maintenance - Tree Removal at Kent Island High School

The Work consists of removing trees and woody vegetation from in and around two (2) stormwater

management ponds and as otherwise necessary to establish a twenty-foot (20’) maintenance buffer

surrounding the facility. Trees are to be cut flush with the ground and root balls remain in place, except

where a tree has fallen, in which case the root ball is to be removed and grade re-established. The

Contractor shall permanently stabilize all disturbed areas and return the site and facility, including pond

fences, to as good or better condition. Refer to the Contract Documents for a complete description of the
