CALL FOR BIDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Bozeman, Montana, is accepting sealed bids for:

E. ASPEN STREET PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE

Separate sealed bids for the E. ASPEN STREET PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE project will be received by the City Clerk at the office of City Hall, 121 North Rouse Ave., P.O. Box 1230, Bozeman, Montana 59771-1230 until 3:00 p.m., local time, October 24, 2022, and then publicly opened and read aloud.

Please write the name of the project on the front of the sealed bid.

Bids must be received before 3:00 p.m., local time, October 24, 2022. Original copies must be submitted- no faxed or electronic bids will be accepted. Bids will be opened and read following the close of bids.

The project work is generally described as follows (the “Work”):

Construction of Pedestrian Bridge across Bozeman Creek at the east end of E. Aspen Street.

Bidding Documents will be distributed to various Montana builder’s exchanges. Bidding Documents will be available from www.questcdn.com in electronic PDF format. You may download the digital plan documents for $15.00 by inputting Quest project #8302872 on the website’s Project Search page. There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference October 10, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. local time. Interested CONTRACTORS are required to attend.

CONTRACTOR and any of the CONTRACTOR’S subcontractors doing work on this project will be required to obtain registration with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). Forms for registration are available from the Department of Labor and Industry, P.O. Box 8011, 1805 Prospect Avenue, Helena, Montana 59604-8011. Information on registration can be obtained by calling 1-406-444-7734. CONTRACTOR is not required to have registered with the DLI prior to bidding on this project but must have registered prior to execution of the Construction Agreement.
