Notice is hereby given that electronic bids for the construction of: Northside Pedestrian Bridge Rehabilitation will be received through QuestCDN until 3:30 P.M., local time, on Thursday, June 1, 2023.

Received bids will be publicly opened and read aloud via Teams Meeting by City Staff immediately following the bid deadline. See instructions to bidders for details concerning the Teams® public bid opening.

This project generally consists of, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of masonry walls with concrete walls, demolition and replacement of concrete access ramps, interior modifications, concrete curb and gutter work, painting, and replacement of electrical systems. Successful contractor will be responsible to coordinate with BNSF for work adjacent to the active rail yard. Contractors must secure right of entry approval(s) to work on the BNSF rights-of way outside of the City held lease and easement areas.

There will be a mandatory pre-bid conference at the Missoula Parks & Recreation Conference Room, 600 Cregg Lane, Missoula, Montana, on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. local time. Following the pre-bid meeting, an opportunity to visit the site with staff and the project engineer will be offered.

Qualifications:
Actual prior experience performing the type of work in this project is an important factor for performance of this project. The Bidder is required to submit at the time of the bid with the bid proposal packet proof of experience performing work of a similar nature. Lack of experience in successfully completing projects of a similar size, with similar complexity may be construed as constituting a non-qualified bidder as determined by the City of Missoula.
