Battery Electric Bus Charger Installation (Phase 2)

Pursuant to Section 143-131 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, sealed proposals for the Battery Electric Bus (BEB) Charger Installation (Phase 2) (the “Project”) to be furnished to the Town of Chapel Hill, N.C., will be received by Zakia Alam, Purchasing and Contracts Manager, at the Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Chapel Hill, N.C., until May 2, 2023, at 2:00 PM.

Prospective bidders may view the plans and specifications for the proposed project on the Town of Chapel Hill website (www.townofchapelhill.org. Click on the “Businesses” menu, then the “Bid Notices” option, then the name of this project).

A mandator y pre-bid conference will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023, at 11:00 AM in the 2 ^nd Floor Conference room at the Howard and Lillian Lee Transit Center, 6900 Millhouse Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27516. A visit to the site will be offered immediately following the pre-bid conference. All potential bidders are hereby notified that attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference is required for bids to be considered by the Town of Chapel Hill; failure to attend will disqualify the bid.

The Project Manager for this project is Peter Aube, Maintenance Manager Transit, Town of Chapel Hill. All requests for interpretations related to this RFB must be submitted in writing to the Project Manager at paube@townofchapelhill.org by Tuesday, April 25, 2023, by 12:00 PM. All responses to timely submitted requests for interpretations will be emailed in the form of an addendum to the pre-bid meeting attendees by Wednesday, April 26, 2023, by 5:00 PM.
