Pursuant to Section 143-129 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the Town of Chapel Hill (herein referred to as “Town”) is inviting sealed Bids from responsive and responsible bidders for the purchase of two (2) new Ford Police SUV AWD Interceptors or equal to be furnished to the Town of Chapel Hill, N. C. Sealed Bids will be received by the Purchasing & Contracts Manager at Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Chapel Hill, N. C. 27514, on Monday, May 1, 2023, at 1:00 P.M., at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
Instructions for submitting bids and complete specifications are available on the Town’s website at www.townofchapelhill.org .
All questions pertaining to the specifications should be addressed to Mark Agosto, Fleet Manager, at magosto@townofchapelhill.org by Monday, April 24, 2023. Responses to all the questions received will be published in the form of an Addendum on the Town website www.townofchapelhill.org on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
It is the responsibility of the Bidder to have the Bids delivered to the address above by the specified time and date of opening. The Town does not take responsibility for any Bids not delivered on time and shall be returned unopened.
The Town of Chapel Hill reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bids, to waive minor technicalities and informalities, and to make an award deemed in its best interest.
