The University of Nebraska intends to procure a qualified contractor to provide pre-construction services and construction services as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) for Eppley Science Hall Elevator Replacement. The estimated construction cost for the CMR Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) is $1,968,000. The total estimated construction budget including the GMP, in-house construction services, and the Owner’s contingency is $2,495,456.
Please Note: There will not be a pre-submittal meeting held for this project. If access to the facility is needed, please submit a request to eBid@nebraska.edu prior to the deadline for submitting questions.
The CMR services includes two phases for pre-construction services, as well as preparation and submission of the GMP, which may require multiple bid packages, and complete construction services for the project. It will be the responsibility of the CMR to integrate the design and construction phases, apply skills and knowledge of general contracting, provide value engineering and constructibility reviews, develop schedules, prepare detailed project construction estimates, study labor conditions, and in any other way deemed necessary, contribute to the development of the Project during the pre-construction/design phase.
