RFP – Professional Engineering Services for 2022 Lead Service Line Replacement Projects

Description

The City of Rochester through its Water Bureau division, is soliciting proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide construction administration (CA) and resident project representation (RPR) engineering services for the following projects:

  • 2022 Spring 2A Lead Service Line Replacement (LSLR) Project
  • 2022 Summer 2B Lead Service Line Replacement (LSLR) Project

The scope will include construction administration services and resident project representation services for the construction phase of the above noted projects. The 2022 Spring 2A LSLR project involves replacement of over 900 existing lead water services on various streets. The City is requesting CA and RPR services for the pavement restoration phase of this project. Pavement restoration consist of spot milling and chip seal treatment on approximately 250,000 square yards of pavement.

The 2022 Summer 2B Lead Service Line Replacement Project involves replacement of 1,500 existing lead water services and approximately 270 inside water services on various streets within the City. This project also includes pavement restoration that involved spot milling and paving and chip seal treatment for approximately 280,000 square yards. We are requesting CA and RPR engineering services for all aspects of work included in this project.

The RFP includes a draft scope of services, proposal requirements, MWBE participation, and Federal American Rescue Plan Act (“ARPA”) and City provisions.
