Klamath County KCR Construction Project ITB: General Contractor

The Klamath County Juvenile Department invites written sealed bids, from Licensed General Contractors, to engage in the KCR Construction Project to demolish specific portions of the Klamath County Juvenile Department facility, prepare the site, and build the KCR Construction Project at the Klamath County Juvenile Department, 3331 Vandenberg Road, Klamath Falls, OR. 97603.

Questions pertaining to the scope of work should be directed to Dan Golden, Klamath County Juvenile Department Director, 3331 Vandenberg Road, Klamath Falls, OR. 97603; phone: (541) 851-3856. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held by Dan Golden, at the Klamath County Juvenile Department, 3331 Vandenberg Road, Klamath Falls, OR. 97603 at 10 am, on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.

Written sealed bids in envelopes marked “Klamath County KCR Construction Project ITB: General Contractor” shall be delivered or mailed to Leslie Barlow-Hunter, Contract and Risk Manager, 305 Main Street, Suite 216, Klamath Falls, OR. 97601. Only bids from licensed General Contractors will be accepted. No bid shall be considered if received later than 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2023. The bids shall be opened at the Klamath County Government Center at 305 Main Street in Room 216 after 11:00 a.m. on March 9, 2023.

This project is subject to Oregon’s prevailing wage rates. All Bids must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit (Bank), or Bid Bond, payable to the Klamath County in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid.

Klamath County may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may for good cause reject any or all bids upon a finding of the agency it is in the public interest to do so. Klamath County reserves the right to rescind the award of any contract at any time before the execution of said contract by all parties without any liability against the County. All bids are subject to Oregon Law bid procedures.
