The City of Lancaster is seeking bids for
CONTRACT: #2018-11, titled Beaver Street Water Main Replacement
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Lancaster in the office of the City
Controller 2nd Fl, 120 North Duke Street, Lancaster PA 17602 until 11:00 a.m. on
June 27th, 2018 and will then and there be publicly opened and read aloud in the
Mayors Conference Room for
Project generally comprises of comprises the abandonment of a section of exiting
water main and services and the construction of approximately 1,300 LF of 8-
inch DICL water main with new services to replace the older system in
preparation for street paving projects, on Beaver Street, between Seymour Street
and Hazel Street.
Copies of Bidding Documents may only be obtained at the Owner’s Office of
Procurement and Collection, 39 West Chestnut Street, Lancaster, PA, 17603
Available at no cost and disbursed as a PDF Email Only. All shipping fees will be
the responsibility of the purchaser if a disk is requested to be mailed.
Bids security of 10% of bid is required.
Bids may not be withdrawn after the time set for bid opening.

If the bidding documents (plans and specifications), cost money to obtain, you
must have purchased them from the City of Lancaster or one of its agents if a bid
is submitted. If the documents were not purchased from the City or agent, but
from a third party, your bid will be rejected.
