| The intent of this Invitation for Bid is to select one contractor to provide annual directional boring/trenchless excavation services on an as needed basis to be utilized by the City of Suffolk, Virginia. Work will be generally associated with electric utility, communications, and traffic signal installation and shall be in accordance with all specifications, terms, and conditions herein. | |||

| The contract shall cover the period from November 1, 2022 through October 31, 2023. The City reserves the option to renew this contract for four (4) additional one-year periods ending October 31, 2027. Unless notified in writing thirty (30) days prior to the expiration date, the contract will automatically renew during these periods. | |||
