Background/Introduction

The Center for Public Partnerships and Research (CPPR) at the University of Kansas works to optimize the well-being of children, youth, and families. Our multidisciplinary team of over 85 researchers, social workers, psychologists, and sociologists are experts in applied research, social innovation, and translating data to practice. CPPR works in partnership with government, academic, non-profit, and business organizations in Kansas and across the country to addresses challenges in areas like K-12 education, public health, youth development, early childhood, and child welfare.

We’re seeking one or more early childhood and related systems strategist consultants with experience and knowledge about applicable federal and state regulations related to childcare, and understand current data, gaps, needs, and trends. It’s critical that this consultant have understanding of governance models, policy writing and implementation, or long term investment strategies for sustainable development.

The overarching goal of this work is to provide our organization with subject matter expertise in early childhood services, programs, policy design, and strategic support with early childhood systems-level levers and transformation points.
